Osharian question of Who was Thoth?

Thoth was many things, to many peoples. In the Tablets of O-Notis there are some writting about Thoth and who he was in our record. Here is some of what Thoth had to say about himself .  " I, THOTH, the Atlantean, master of mysteries, keeper of records, mighty king, magician, living from generation to generation, being about to pass into the halls of Amenti, set down for the guidance of those that are to come after, these records of the mighty wisdom of Great Atlantis. In a time far past, I began this incarnation. Not as the little men of the present age did the mighty ones of Atlantis live and die, but rather from aeon to aeon did they renew their life in the Halls of Amenti where the river of life flows eternally onward. Great were my people in the ancient days, great beyond the conception of the little people now around me; knowing the wisdom of old, seeking far within the heart of infinity knowledge that belonged to Earth's youth. Wise were we with the wisdom of the Children of Light who dwelt among us. Strong were we with the power drawn from the eternal fire. Now ye assemble, my children, waiting to hear the Secret of Secrets which shall give ye power to unfold the God-man, give ye the way to Eternal life. Plainly shall I speak of the Unveiled Mysteries. No dark sayings shall I give unto thee. Open thine ears now, my children. Hear and obey the words that I give. First I shall speak of the fetters of darkness which bind ye in chains to the sphere of the Earth.

Darkness and light are both of one nature, different only in seeming, for each arose from the source of the All. Darkness is disorder. Light is Order. Darkness transmuted is light of the Light. This, my children, your purpose in being; transmutation of darkness to light. Hear ye now of the mystery of nature, the relations of life to the Earth where it dwells. Know ye, ye are threefold in nature, physical, astral and mental in one. Three are the qualities of each of the natures; nine in all, as above, so below". 

In the Emerald Tablets, Thoth the Atlantean explains the reason for the destruction of Atlantis:  Confidential knowledge was imparted to unworthy people and the latter began using it for evil purposes. Also they adopted blood sacrifices — and this resulted in numerous incarnations of hellish beings among people.
When the first destruction of Atlantis happened (the continent broke in two islands ) around 50,000 BC. Thoth the Atlantean is said to have moved to Egypt (Khem) with a group of other Divine Atlanteans.
The great ones advised Thoth thus: “Go forth as a teacher of the temple of light.  Go forth preserving the records (with teachings) until in time the Light grows among men again ! 

Here is a fragment from arthur Charles Clarke: "An advanced race built the Giza complex, of which Thoth claims to be the architect. Thoth was an Atlantean Priest-King.  Which founded a colony in Egypt after the first break up of their mother land. Thoth sent pyramid priest around the world, some carried the Emerald Tablets with them. The Tablets were used as talismans to exercise their authority over what they called lesser priest-craft races.  They also were descendants of Atlantean colonies. Characters were engraved upon the tablets, which responded to attuned thought waves, releasing mental vibrations in the reader's mind". Plato talks about Thoth's migration to Egypt in his works 'The Phaedrus, and the Cratylus'. Here is some of that. Plato believed that writting had been invented in Egypt, and attributed the origins to Thoth. Plato states that Thoth had come to the Egyptian king, to show him many inventions inclueding writting. Thoth claimed that writting would make his people wiser and give them better memories. The king was not convinced. He argued that discovery would create forgetfulness, because his people would no longer rely on thier memory; but would trust in written characters to view their history. Once people rely on writting, the truth of thier history could be changed. Letters, signs, and glyphs are apart of idealism, which can take away from transcendent ideals". The tablets of O-Notis pick up the same story. Here is a fragment of that. " Alta and the Altarians stormed the capital of Metropolis in the mountain of Atlas. Alta thought that his father had become weak. He did not believe the people should be given the power to rule over themselves. Alta went on to destory and kill the high priest-kings of the Oshar. Atlas had left Earth before Alta could retaliate against him. It is said that Atlas took with him one of the keys of knowledge that had been brought to Earth by his kind. Alta then sent out his army all over the world to destroy all the high priest and priestess of the Oshar and Alta took the emerald tablets that acted as remote controls to the great towers that powered the Atlantean city states. He at that time did not yet control all of the tablets. However with the tablet that controled Eden and Metropolis, he turned up the reactors which made the plates of the earth's crust very active. Alta sent out the Altarian -Atlantean--Kings to all kingdoms of the free world. His kings built great city states and began to rule over all peoples of the earth. Many native nations did not want city states in their lands. A congress of nations was called. At this congress, many nation came together to try to over throw the Altarian kings. It is said that the reactors brought on changes in the earth, at the time of precession. Alta the son of Atlas and Priest-King of the Altarians, rose against his father. He believed that his sister and high priestess of the Iltar shouldn't have any power over their people. Alta believed that the males of his bloodline came from light beings that had migrated to here long ago. They were older and had come first before the sister and mother came to be, there for the Altarian male should rule over all of mankind. Alta also believed that city state cultures should rule over native peoples of the world because they were a lesser race of humans. Alta with is navy migrated to the Nile. It was there that he came before the Egyptian rulers. He and his people had many devices from the city states. He offered writting as trade for his people. The King sent him away with a no. Alta became mad and went before the king's brother ( Set ). Set believed that he should have been the heir to the throne, but was not choosen. So Alta ( Thoth ) made a deal with Set. It was then that the dark age came to Egypt. Thoth and Set took over the capital and killed the king, sending his body parts all over the world so that the king could never be reborn as an Egyptian. He betrayed Set and took the throne for him self. He then went on to rape Issis and have children called the Horus. Thoth went on to kill every new born male in Egypt. This was because of his fear that the king would be reborn. Issis was forced to create differant written languages for all nations under Egypt's rule. This was so native nations of people could not work together to oppose Thoth. Later Issis gethered the body of the great king. Many years past. Then a child that was saved was sent down the river. This male child was sent to the royal temple. He was rased by Thoth and tot by the councel of ten, which was then only nine, because the 10th member was killed. The boy was tot many secrects. Among the secrects tot was that of the history of Thoth before the languages had been created. It told of Thoth's rise to rule and the destruction of it's people. This boy was called Moses. Moses then took two of the emerald tablets from the temple and went to the top of the mountain. It was there that God came to him and told him that Thoth was not a friend to god any more. Thoth had given forbidden knowledge to the humans. God went on to say that Moses would learn the ancient language of the emerald tablets. This would give him the atomic names of all things. With this language he could control all things made of particle. He went on to free his people and other peoples from inslavement. Moses was told by god to used the same tools and knowledge that Thoth had used against mankind. The age of Atlantean kings and their son was over". The Oshar believe that the Altarians took over the world, once Babel was destroyed. For over 12,000 years the cults of the sun and Altar have ruled over us. It is said in the last golden age of Altar that the precession shall mark the end of their rule, and a new age of Oshar and Iltar will return. Atlas himself is said to be reborn in this time. He will find the ancient children of the Oshar and bring the knowledge of the sons of light back to earth." We the Oshar believe that a balance between the cults of the moon and the sun must come about. It is now time for the lunar cults of order to come to rule.
